Paul Simon’s career began with Art Garunkel as the folk duo Tom and Jerry in Forest Hills, New York. Their partnership flourished in the mid-60’s with numerous hits. Simon went solo in the early 70’s, and continued to top the charts on his own, including the ground- breaking 1986 album “Graceland.”
