1976 – Bob Seger begins his breakthrough to stardom as his album, “Live Bullet”, goes gold.

1978 – Faces drummer Kenny Jones becomes the Who’s drummer, replacing the late Keith Moon who died two months earlier.

1979 – The first of three concerts for the people of Kampuchea are held at London’s Hammersmith Odeon. On the bill are Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, the Who and many other high-profile artists.
