1975 – Joni Mitchell hits #24 with “Big Yellow Taxi.”

1979 – Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are” wins Record and Song of the Year at The Grammy Awards.

1998 – The Rolling Stones wrap up their Bridges To Babylon North American tour in Las Vegas. The Stones play “The Joint,” the 1,400 seat theatre inside the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas.

1999 – “Rolling Stones Day” is declared in the state of Minnesota by Governor Jesse Ventura, a one-time Stones bodyguard.
