1962 – Bob Dylan releases his debut, “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.” The album includes the songs “Blowin’ In The Wind” and “A Hard Rain’s Gonna Fall.”

1969 – Only five months after his debut album, Neil Young releases “Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere,” the first of many with Crazy Horse.

1972 – Cat Stevens hits #6 with “Morning Has Broken.”

1994 – The Eagles reunite at a Burbank, California concert.

1997 – “Flaming Pie,” Paul McCartney’s first studio album in four years, is released.

1999 – B.B. King, Susan Tedeschi, and Keb’Mo’ capture multiple W.C. Handy Awards at the Blues Foundation’s ceremony at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis.

2008 – Sir Paul McCartney is awarded an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Yale University.

2017 – Gregg Allman passed away at the age of 69 from liver cancer.
