1975 – Elton John headlines a bill at Wembley Stadium that also features the Eagles, The Beach Boys, and Joe Walsh.

1975 – James Taylor’s “How Sweet It Is” is released.

1981 – Donald Fagen and Walter Becker announce the break-up of Steely Dan. The band will reform for a nationwide tour in 1993, and release “Two Against Nature” in 2000.
